Reclaim Our Hearts

It is easy to say that we love Allah swt.
It is easy to say that there is nothing else in our hearts, except Allah.
Yes, it is easy to say on the tongue but not with the heart.

There's a direct relation between the heart (your love) and the mind (your thought)..
your thought is going to be the reflection of what you love the most..
what's consume in your heart, consuming your mind too..

Here  are some questions to ask ourselves, in way to measure our hearts.
.
.
.

What do we really LOVE the most?

what are we AFRAID of?

What are we FEAR the most?

what do we THINK about the most?

what do we THINK ABOUT ALL DAY LONG?

what is that ALWAYS OCCUPYING IN OUR MIND?

what does the THINGS that we SPENDING THE ENTIRE DAY WORRYING ABOUT?

what it's RELATED TO?

does it's related to Allah?

Does it?
 . . . . .  . . .  . . .  . . . . . . .  . . . . . . . .

We'll find out that most of the time, it is not about Allah s.w.t. But it is all about His gifts...
.
.
.
.

what do WE THINK ABOUT WHEN WE WERE PRAYING?

 . . .  . . .  . .  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Be honest to admit that, sometimes we were praying to Allah, while actually our minds thinking about something else, not Allah.. and our hearts worrying about else matters and not to Allah...
.
.
.

Ask ourselves again, what is it that make us MOST ANGRY?

what is it that makes us MOST SAD?

and again, LOOK AT WHAT WE'RE FEARED OF??

.....because fear is the indicator of ULTIMATE LOVE.

Is it ALLAH, to whom we feared to most???
.
.
.

More questions,

What are the things that we MOST AFRAID OF LOSING IT?

what's the things that KEEP US UP ALL NIGHT long until we cannot sleep?

what was THE LAST THING WE THINK ABOUT before we fall asleep?

what was THE FIRST THING ON OUR MIND WHEN WE WOKE UP?

What are the answers to all those questions?

What was it?

. . . . . . . . . . . . .  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  . . . . . . . . . .

we will figure out that most of the answers to all the questions, has nothing to do with Allah...

typically the answers are the gifts...

the gifts- the money, the job, the wealth, the honor, the power, the status, the spouse, the children, the family, the good health, the body, the appearance and everything little things in this life...

All the blessings in this life are the gifts from Allah...
when Allah give us gifts- we should appreciate it, and we should show gratitude for it..
However, it seems like we have love the gifts more than the Giver...

how come we LOVE the GIFTS more than the GIVER?
how come we became DEPENDENT to the GIFTS but not to the GIVER?

The gifts-—that should have remained in our hands—takes over our heart.

We have took all the gifts and put that in the place of our heart, where it is supposed to be a place for Allah swt..

The Life, The Gift or The Giver? We make the choice.

The Best Feeling is Grateful

Do you know what could have make you feel so alive and grateful?

When you realized even after so many sins you've committed,
but Allah couldn't stop give you blessings,
again and again..

It's feel like He couldn't just let you go for whatever reasons.

...and I, couldn't hope for more than His blessings...

Thank you Allah..

=')

Love,
Munira.

Waking up in the morning with this feeling everyday will definitely help me get through the hectic day with faith and a smile along the way...

Dahulu, Kini dan Realiti

Malam- malam begini, tiba- tiba tangan gatal belek-belek folder gambar- gambar lama dalam laptop.
Tersenyum bila tengok diri sendiri yang dulu. Zaman muda remaja.

"sengallah!!" "gila! sewellah"
takpe, tak kisah, korang panggil aku apa. Aku suka. Aku suka bila dapat buat korang gembira, gelak sakan macam sewel jugak!

Wajah aku dahulu, senyuman aku dahulu.
 Aku nampak. Ya, aku nampak.
Ceria. Sangat ceria, terlalu ceria.

Mana senyuman aku yg dahulu? Mana gila aku yg dahulu?.
Ke mana hilangnya?

Ohhhhh, kadang- kadang aku hampir terlupa.
Aku bukan lagi gadis periang yang dahulu.
Hidup penuh dengan ketawa.
Penuh dengan semangat, penuh angan- angan.
Otak ligat fikir nak buat kerja gila.
Bukan lagi gadis remaja yg galak utk meng"explore" masa depan.

Aku bukan lagi yg dahulu.
Masa mendewasakan aku.
Pengalaman mematangkan aku.

Inilah masanya.
Bila kita sedar, kita telah berubah.
Berubah kerana masa, kerana usia, kerana keadaan, kerana pengalaman.
Berubah, bila kita sedar akan tujuan hidup sebenar.
Tujuan hidup sebenar.
Ya tentang realiti sebuah kehidupan yg sebenar.

Semakin menganjak dewasa, sebenarnya kita menjadi semakin takut.
Bukan semakin berani, seperti saat muda dahulu.
Tidak.
Kerana dahulu kau mentah, kau tak tahu apa kehidupan sebenarnya.
Tapi kini kau telah dewasa, baru kau sedar apa kehidupan sebenarnya.

Yes it is.

This is what we called,
GROWING UP.

have you?

The Gifts

Allah gives us gifts. But then we often become dependent on those gifts, instead of Him. When He gives us money, we depend on the money—not Him. When He gives us people, we depend on people—not Him. When He gives us status or power, we depend on, and become distracted by these things. When Allah gives us health, we become deceived. We think we will never die.

Allah gives us gifts, but then we come to love them as we should only love Him. We take those gifts and inject them into our hearts, until they take over. Soon we cannot live without them. Every waking moment is spent in contemplation of them, in submission and worship to them. The mind and the heart that was created by Allah, for Allah, becomes the property of someone or something else. And then the fear comes. The fear of loss begins to cripple us.

The gift—that should have remained in our hands—takes over our heart, so the fear of losing it consumes us. Soon, what was once a gift becomes a weapon of torture and a prison of our own making. How can we be freed of this?
At times, in His infinite mercy, Allah frees us…by taking it away.

As a result of it being taken, we turn to Allah wholeheartedly. In that desperation and need, we ask, we beg, we pray. Through the loss, we reach a level of sincerity and humility and dependence on Him which we would otherwise not reach—had it not been taken from us. Through the loss, our hearts turn entirely to face Him.

beautifully written by Yasmin Mogahed. Yes I really adore Her. her writing, her ideas and her perspectives are beyond typical. She's so inspiring!

Yang namanya Manusia

Pernah rasa diri ditipu?
Pernah rasa diri dikhianati?
Pernah rasa diri diperdaya?
Pernah rasa diri dipermainkan?
Pernah rasa diri ditikam dari belakang?
Pernah rasa maruah diri dipersendakan?

Mana mungkin..

Aku hanya manusia biasa, aku bukan malaikat!

Subhanallah, so sweet... Allah sebenarnya ingin bantu kita!

"Maka janganlah engkau mengatakan dirimu suci. Dialah (Allah) yang paling mengetahui tentang orang yang bertakwa." (Surah an-Najm [53]:32).

Assalamualaikum w.b.t..

Simple update tentang hal malam semalam, aku pergi program Mahabbah Rasulullah yg diadakan di DTSP, USM. Niat aku memang satu, moga aku makin kenal Rasulullah, moga aku makin mencintai Baginda, ya aku benar- benar ingin belajar mencintai Rasulullah sepenuh hati.

Semuanya bermula beberapa bulan dulu, ada seorang kawan aku ni, dia sangat-sangat mencintai Nabi Muhammad.. aku pun cakap yg aku pun sayangkan Rasulullah, tapi dia, perasaan dia lain. Perasaan yg dia rasa benar- benar lain. Bukan hanya dimulut seperti aku. Tapi dia, bercakap cintakan Rasulullah memang benar- benar ikhlas dari hatinya, memang benar- benar jujur. Sampaikan, dia selalu menangis bila mengenangkan Rasulullah. Betapa cinta dan rindunya dia pada Rasulullah. Subhanallah... Sungguh, aku betul- betul cemburu kerana dia mempunyai perasaan yg begitu mendalam.

Aku sedar yang Iman aku masih terlalu kurang, masih terlalu mentah. Sebab ayat cinta aku kepada Rasulullah, hanya dimulut, aku masih tak dapat rasakan sepenuh hati. Astargfirullahalazim...

Aku tak tahu nak cakap macam mana.. aku tak tahu nak gambarkan macam mana... Sepanjang Imam muda Hassan bercerita tentang Rasulullah, tentang kehidupannya, akhlaknya terhadap orang lain.. Baginda sungguh mempesona.. ya Allah, aku rasa sedih sangat. Sepanjang beliau berceramah, aku rasa sebak, aku tahan air mata yang dah lama bergenang. Hati aku rasa sayu sangat, diri aku rasa malu teramat.

Aku rasa malu...

Sejauh mana cinta kita pada Rasullullah s.a.w? Ya Rasulullah, maafkan kami...

Lepas habis program tu, sampai je dalam kereta aku, aku nangis sepuas- puasnya, seorang diri. Untuk pertama kalinya air mata aku jatuh kerana Rasulullah... Aku sedih.. aku malu... Aku malu jika selama ini aku jadi wanita Muslim, tetapi menjadi umat Rasulullah yang memalukan agama. Aku sedih kerana telah mencalarkan nama Rasulullah selama aku menjadi umatnya. Aku sedih sebab selama 23 tahun aku hidup, tapi kini aku baru belajar mencintai Rasulullah.

In shaa Allah..

Aku jatuh cinta padamu ya Rasulullah...

Allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa`ala ali muhammad

p/s: Untuk sahabat semua, marilah kita belajar mencintai Rasulullah sepenuh hati dulu sebelum kita sibuk nak menyintai manusia lain... Semoga Allah tanamkan rasa cinta kita kepadaNya dan Rasulullah sepenuh hati dan iman kita. Aamiinn..

Avoiding the Haram Relationship

I came across with this beautiful story, with deep meaningful thought about the haram relationship before marriage. Just to be clear that, it is the relationship that is haram, but not the feeling of love. What I mean is that, we cannot hold or stop the feeling of love, since the feeling is from Allah. But one thing for sure, we can hold and stop ourselves from being involve into the haram relationship that may lead us to zina. I repeat, it MAY lead.

However,  Insyallah, with the help from Allah, may Allah always guide our steps not to go astray, Aamiin..

AN AMAZING STORY - LEAVE FORBIDDEN LOVE TODAY!

She decided to leave her boyfriend…
He asked her, not believing her decision: ”Are you leaving me? Are you going to walk away from me?”

Misbaah was in college and was having a whirlwind time,
bunking lectures and enjoying in the canteen and campus. She was so intelligent that she didn't need to dig in books for marks was the other advantage.

Dressed in jeans and shirt mostly her slim body with good facial features had attracted many boys too. Every boy wished to know her or be linked. Though she was very extrovert, she would be straightforward with boys, but slowly fell for Ahmed.

One teacher named Payal was their theory teacher whom she loved. She was a jovial and friendly teacher. But suddenly she was found very reserved and to herself. She would have mood swings and at times would be seen crying bitterly.

Misbaah approached her teacher after school and asked her the reason. Misbaah told her that she didnt want to interfere in her private life but she said that she came because the entire class seems there is something amiss with the teacher.

Payal wiped another big tear from her eyes and she whispered in Misbaah's ear "I have reverted to Islam, I am only telling you because you are a muslim" Misbaah said what's the big fuss? What makes u cry even i am a muslim i never cry"

Payal mam showed Misbaah what her parents had also never discussed with her. She showed her the Quran with translation and some verses she had marked ‘It is He who accepts repentance from His servants, and pardons bad deeds, and knows all that you do. And He answers those who have faith and do righteous deeds, and gives them- out of His bounty- far more.’ (al-Shura 42: 25-6)

But those who disbelieve say, “The Hour (i.e. the Day of Judgment) will not come to us.” Say, “Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you. [Allah is] the Knower of the unseen.” Not absent from Him is an atom’s weight within the heavens or within the earth or [what is] smaller than that or greater, except that it is in a clear register - That He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. Those will have forgiveness and noble provision. But those who strive against Our verses [seeking] to cause failure (i.e. to undermine their credibility) - for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature. (Quran, 34:3-5)

Misbaah drove home that day without talking to Ahmed. She herself was in deep thought. She thought "I just know I am a muslim but do not know where I belong. My name sounds muslim, just that inside I was empty."  SHE FELT LIKE I BECAME A NEW MUSLIM THAT DAY. First time in her life she faced the Kaaba and prayed that day. It was simply awesome she loved the time she spent with my creator.

Everyday she saw Miss Payal praying in the prayer room which she had never entered in years of her college life. She would cry and seek forgiveness and then again read Quran. Misbaah would accompany her teacher in her solitude.

Misbaah became aware of the purpose of life. "And I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to worship Me" (Quran, 51:56-58)

Very simple! The purpose for man’s creation is to worship the Creator. The essence of Allah’s message through all of the prophets also was:"Oh mankind, worship Allah, you have no deity other than Him". (Quran, 7:59,65,73,85)

An Nisa 56"Those who rejected Our revelations will soon be thrown into the fire. No sooner will their skins be burnt out then We shall replace their skins, so they may taste the real torment, Allah is All-Mighty, Wise."

An-Nisa 78:"No matter where you may be, death is going to reach you, even if you are in fortified towers..."

These aayats developed fear in her and made her tremble. But she was now close to her Lord. She understood that the world and its people are just a fantasy. She understood the real world.

However, Ahmed thought was "she is drifting away from me let me confront her and know all".

She had decided to leave her boyfriend.
He asked her, not believing her decision: ”Are you leaving me? Are you going to walk away from me?”
She answered: ”I am leaving disobedience of Allah and walking away from it”
He said:”you are going to miss me”
She said:”I am missing Hasanaat (good deeds) more than you”
“you will regret it one day” he said.

She replied: “I will regret our relationship on Judgment Day”
“Don’t you love me anymore?” he asked her.
“I did", she said, "but now the love of Allah filled my heart that I can’t find any place for your Haraam love in it”
Then she added:”and if you love Allah more than me, then just turn and walk away.” (♥)

May Allah always protect us, develop a strong heart for us that filled with strong Iman to Allah. "Ya Allah, guide our steps to the right path, and don't let us go astray."

I am no Good .

yeah I know I'm no good.
I am just a human that full of sins.
If you think I'm trying to be good, guess you were wrong.
I'd never trying to be good. and I'm not even trying to act good.

But one thing for sure,
I am trying to be a better person than I used to be.
I am trying to be a better daughter for my parents.
I am trying to be a better friend for my darlings (friends, family, relatives, people )
and the most of all, a better servant to Allah The Almighty...

cuz I know death will soon come over me,
thus with my whole heart
I'm seeking for Allah's forgiveness, for all my sins that I've committed in my entire life.
I'm wishing to live a blessed dunya life,
and I pray that God will bless me with a good ending of Khusnul Khotimah,
and of course, I pray for a good akhirat life.
Insyallah.

Although I know I don't deserve that,
but still, that's my wishes as a Muslim, and I'm yearning for it.
Again, Insyallah.
Aamiinn.

Sincerely Allah's servant,
Munira.

Loving Yourself

Loving yourself  doesn't mean you do not care for others.
It means you are at a level where you find everything beautiful, lovable;
where you see only positive side of the scenario;
where you see only the best in others.

If they are full of negative energy you don’t look at that but know the reason behind that;
when you don’t leave them at their position but give them energy to return back;
tell them you are best;
you are not the one behaving right now.

And, it will give you the peace deepest to your soul.
This is the way you will love not only yourself but whole world.
And, it will return to you back too.

my ohh my, i've found this beautiful saying from facebook:The Best Status Messages

This is Dunya

This is dunya. Dunya. Not a place of ease. Only glitter.
The place where you have to feel cold and hungry.
The place where you have to worry and feel scared.
The place where it gets cold.
So cold, sometimes.
The place where you have to leave the people you love.
Where you can’t get attached, because even if you do, it doesn’t make it stay, it just makes it hurt when it doesn’t.
The place where happiness and sadness are only players, waiting for their next line in a play…

This is my favourite lines from "I Prayed for Peace Today" by Yasmin Mogahed.
